Announcement for 2018 Commencement Ceremony
1. Date: Friday, February 23, 2018 starting from 12:30
2. Venue: Lyu Keun-Chul Sports Complex(N3)
3. Participants
o Graduates those who graduated on August 2017
o Expected graduates on February 2018
※ All graduating students may arrive before 13:00 at the following places;
– Bachelor’s Degree: Chung Moon Sool B/D 1st Floor(E-16)
– Master’s Degree: Auditorium(E-15)
– Doctor’s Degree: School of Humanities &Social Science B/D(N-4), A/V Room
※ The flag bearer will escort you to your assigned seat and you will march in procession.
※ You will be presented individually with the diploma on the stage
※ You can not leave the place during the ceremony
4. Graduation Report Submission(Requirement)
o Graduation Report Form
– http://portal.kaist.ac.kr → Academic system → Graduation Management
※ Must fill out all information with sincerity
o Deadline : You shall submit the final report in the system by January 17, 2018
o If you graduated on Aug. 2017 and did not submit final report, bring the printed copy to Student affairs team or gown rental office
o Graduation report is the official requirement for graduation which aims to finalize all works related with studying in KAIST
5. Graduation Gown Rental Service
▦ Rental
o Period : Feb. 20 ~ 22, 2018 (10:00 ~ 17:00)
※ Not available on the day of commencement (Feb. 23, 2018)
o Place: Student Center(N12), 2nd Floor
o Rental Fee: 10,000won
– Account Number: Post Office 312512-01-000015 (한국과학기술원)
– Rental Fee payment period : 19th Feb(Mon) ~ 22th Feb(Thurs)
※ You must pay rental fee first then submit your deposit slip to rental office.

o Period: Feb. 23, 2018 (16:00 ~ 18:00) and Feb. 24, 2018 (10:00 ~ 12:00)
o Place: Student Center(N12), 2nd Floor
