On September 9, 2015, the Department of Business and Technology Management and the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering successfully hosted the First Wednesday Multidisciplinary Forum of September, 2015.
The forum was held in room 101 at Creative Learning Building (E11). Jihee Kim, the professor of the Department of Business and Technology Management lectured on ‘Project BudgetWiser: Realizing Deliberative Democracy with Crowdsourcing and Open Government Data,’ and Sunyoung Park, the professor of the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering gave a lecture on ‘Structural Changes in the Financial Sector: Technological Financing and Fin-Tech in Korea.’
The forum received enthusiastic attendance as more than a hundred people came and some students stood listening to the lecture.
We very much appreciate the professors for leading a fruitful forum that examined the latest topics and trends of research.
WooJung Kim in the Department of Business and Technology Management is selected for Dean’s List of Spring 2015 in College of Liberal Arts and Convergence Science.
On Wednesday, September 2, 2015, Dean’s List awards ceremony was held in the dean’s office, and it went on with words of praise and encouragement from Jungro Yoon, dean of College of Liberal Arts and Convergence Science at the dinner table.
College of Liberal Arts and Convergence Science selects an outstanding student every semester to award Dean’s List.

Dr.Jongtae Lee (degree received: 2012) in Professor Myungchul Park’s lab is appointed as an assistant professor in the Business Department at Seoul Women’s University as of September 1, 2015.
Dr.Semi Han (degree received: 2015) in Professor Euihoon Lee’s lab is appointed as an assistant professor in the Department of Active Aging Industry in General Graduate School at Cha University as of fall 2015.

BTM undergraduate students went on a field trip on April 24th, 2015. They visited Samsung Display and KIA Motors. They could have a better understanding of business and technology management through the field trip experience.
Undergraduate students went to cheery blossoms picnic to outdoor theater on April 10th.
Undergraduate students and professors, including dean of BTM and head of BTM had incredible lunch and recreation time.
