(Undergraduate) BTM Undergraduate Application for Double Major (~3/8, Fri.)
BTM undergraduate students must complete double major courses from other natural sciences or engineering departments.
Please refer to the application procedures as below, and apply for a double major within the periods.
* Please be noted that the credit requirements for applying for double major are abolished.
Undergraduate students may submit applications for Advanced Major/ Minor/ Double Major/ Individually Designed Major as
instructed below.
1. Application Period : Monday, February 25 ~ Friday, March 8, 23:59
※ Cancellation Period : Monday, February 25 ~ Friday, March 22, 23:59
2. Application Process: After applying on the Academic System, submit online before the deadline
– Academic System [Academic Records=> Apply school register change=> Application for Major/Minor/ Double Major/
Individually Designed Major]→ Obtain approval of department academic advisor→ Obtain approval of head of
current department, and head of Minor/Double Major department→ Students must submit it online before the deadline
on the Academic System

General guidelines
Applicability
- Students were admitted in 2015
or before
- Students were admitted in 2016
and onward
(Students who were admitted in

students must complete graduation
requiremetns for students entering
in 2016 and onward.)
Eligibility
- Allowed to apply without regard to the number of credits earned,
if applicants can meet the
requirements of desired major

※ Application of deferred
payment of tuitions for extended
semesters for students who
apply for minor/double major
- Applicants within the enrollment
duration limit (8 semesters)
(Deferred payment is not allowed in
the event of applying after the

double major or double major into
minor at the same department as
the one where minor or double
major was previously registered
within the enrollment duration
limit (8semesters)
Note
- Up to 9 credits acknowledged if
major courses of the department
offering the minor/double major
overlap with that of the affiliated
department
- Up to 6 credits acknowledged if
major courses of the department
offering the minor/double major
overlap with that of the affiliated
department
- Students who have earned more
than 103 credits and have not
declared any major will be placed
on an advanced major
Graduation
requirements
- Advanced major: At least 12 credits from major courses designed by
the affiliated department
- Minor: At least 18 credits from minor major courses designated by the
department offering the minor
- Double major: At least 40 credits from double major courses designated
by the department offering the double major
- Individually designed major: At least 12credits from major courses of
two or more departments other than the affiliated department

3. Cautionary Measures
a. Please check your approval status by clicking the “Details on type of status change” button. After obtaining approval
from all relevant professors, must submit(click) it online before the specified deadline.
b. Please be aware that if you fail to submit by the deadline, your application will be cancelled automatically.
