Q) You are elected as 2015 President of Student Council. How do you feel?

Honestly, I was not expected to become a president. In the beginning, I was dazed for a moment. But, I make an effort to fulfill my duty with diligence for all those people who voted for me. I will work hard for BTM and BTM graduate students during this year.

Graduate students neglect their exercise because they usually spend their time in labs. Sometimes, they have not seen their friends during a year because their labs are located in another floor. For the best research result, it is import to relieve stress, and  a variety of activities including exercise are good for stress relief. Therefore, I plan to do a variety of activities with students to improve their health. We will do many events to foster intimicies among students. .

Q) What do you do in your spare time?

Steady self-development is important to accomplish the goal. So, I really like exercising. There is a phrase ‘Your body never lies’, and I believe that my effort will paid off if I work out harder. I do weight training for an hour four times a week, and also I often play catch with lab members.

Q) Do you have any special tips for graduate school life?

“Work out” You can relive your stress and build strength by working out. Also, “communicate” and “collaborate”. It is important to interact with people around you even though you are busy. You may hit on an idea by talking to people and sharing ideas and get good advice.

It is an honor to take charge of the president, and I will work hard to fulfill my duty. I am glad to introduce myself through this interview. I want to interact with BTM students. If you want to grab a cup of coffee, please feel free to visit 6th floor~ always welcome!
